Description

At the Alzar School, we believe that students deserve to be challenged.  We know from experience that when they are they will elevate themselves and achieve great things.  It is our mission to help students find opportunities to realize their potential. To do this, we provide and promote educational and engaging expeditions around the United States and the world. Our six foundations to whole person education are: leadership training, service learning, rigorous academics, outdoor adventure, cultural exchange, and environmental stewardship. You can read more about each of these foundations in the links in the blue menu box at the top of this page.   We also have a Calendar which keeps you up to date with all the Alzar School happenings.

The courses we offer are educationally rich, with clear learning objectives.  We combine the best aspects of outdoor and experiential education with international and domestic travel.  Into our programs, we build relevant service-learning projects that give our students the chance to “give back.”  Not only will our students have a ton of fun, but they will also come away having learned more about themselves and the world.  Additionally, we encourage our students to participate in all aspects of our programs, giving them the opportunity to develop their leadership skills.

The Alzar School is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Please take a moment to browse through our site to find out more about us, about our program, curriculum, and community, and about where we are going as an organization. We are offering several different expeditions in the coming year. More information can be found in the Upcoming Programs portion of the site. You can also search our site, using the Google search option at the bottom of this page. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call or email us.
