DescriptionTable in the Wilderness is a year-round camping and retreat facility located at the base of the Snowy Range mountains in southeastern Wyoming. As a non-denominational Christian camp, TWM is committed to serving you by providing customized programming and life-changing experiences that will draw you closer to Christ and build your faith. Youth ministry at Table in the Wilderness is about pushing the limits of nature while discovering that you can never reach the boundaries of Jesus’ love. TWM provides the setting for this sort of exploration and relationship building. Each of our staff members is trained and ready to connect with the students who attend activities here. Men’s and Father/Son ministry. It’s about adventure and encouragement, about connecting and growing closer to God, about experiencing fellowship and challenge. It’s about creating men who will shape their families, churches, and world. HR/PR Director Dan Wahlgren and his wife Sandra founded Table in the Wilderness in 1995 to be able to share Christ with students through serving them the way Jesus served those around Him. “We truly believe that caring for students in this way opens the door to relationship with and ministry to those we are blessed to serve. We continue to see God change the hearts of those who come here and we are thankful to be a part of what God is doing here.” Matt Gribble and his wife Amanda are new additions to the Table in the Wilderness staff. As Program Manager, Matt is our go-to guy for activities and adventure.
Matt serves because of Matthew 22:37-40 (Message paraphrase), which says, “Jesus said, ‘Love the the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.
