Please Note: You must be a current member of the Barrie Canoe & Kayak Club to participate in club trips and activities. Please provide your membership number when registering for trips and outings. The sign up sheets will be at the Monday night paddle events (also posted online). Since these are “interest only” sheets, members must still contact the trip leader for each outing. You are responsible for contacting the trip leader well in advance of the trip date to express your interest in participating. For safety reasons, the trip leader has the final say about who goes on their trips. Participants must assume all risks associated with the activity and must provide the trip leader with a signed Medical/Emergency Information Form prior to the trip. Non-members are entitled to participate as a guest of a member on one day-trip per year and must sign the Waiver of General Liability and provide a Medical/Emergency Information Form to the trip leader prior to the trip beginning



“Basic” means you must be able to control your boat in tandem with another paddler. It does not necessarily mean that you must have certification - please clarify skills required with Trip Leader prior to confirming your participation.
