DescriptionFairmont began as a summer school program 56 years ago in Anaheim, California. Today Fairmont is the oldest, non-sectarian, co-educational school in Orange County offering preschool through high school education year-round at its six campuses located throughout the Anaheim, Anaheim Hills and North Tustin areas. The summer program at Fairmont is organized in a way that fits into any family’s summer schedule. With workshops and courses offered at multiple Fairmont locations throughout the summer, and with summer camp offered each week, parents can select specific weeks and activities or enroll children for the entire summer. ANAHEIM, CA – May 7, 2008 – This June, Orange County-based Fairmont Private Schools is launching a summer camp so cool that parents may soon be wishing they could attend school with their kids. Fairmont's 2008 Summer Program includes fun offerings such as Engineering With Legos, Science Detective – Build a Detective Kit, and Gizmos, Gadgets & Goop: Invent With Electronics. "We welcome children who are not currently enrolled in Fairmont to participate in the summer programs," said Karen Fagerstrom, Fairmont's Summer Program Director. "It is an opportunity for parents and students to have a sneak peak at our classes, teachers and campus culture." Featuring arts and crafts, music, soccer, cooking and water play, Fairmont's preschool summer camp is held at the Anaheim Hills, Citron and Edgewood campuses. Parents may choose from half or full-day programs, from two to five days a week, for their two-and-a-half to five-year-olds. Details
