Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is a professional theater company in the heart of downtown Cincinnati's Backstage district. The Company produces classics, the great works, and the works you rarely get a chance to see. These plays are the ones that have stood the test of time. But plays are only texts without talented theater professionals to reignite them, to invigorate them. Company members include the artistic director, Brian Isaac Phillips, who is responsible for guiding the artistic vision of the theater. Unique to the Cincinnati performing-arts community, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company employs a resident ensemble.
