          Our campus offers nearly 2 miles of waterfront between Boca Ciega Bay and Frenchman's Creek, with easy access to Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The campus is modern, the educational program is exciting and rigorous, and our tropical climate offers plenty of opportunity for outdoor activities year-round. Eckerd College is truly the right climate for learning.

          As a residential college, Eckerd sees living on campus as a vital element of a student's education. And the central location of all of our residence halls provides not only convenience, but encourages a strong sense of community.

          Our residential complexes are all connected by a beach walk, perfect for jogging, skating, biking, or walking your dog. (Yes, one of Eckerd's unique features is the designated residence hall for students with pets!) You'll have plenty of opportunities to get to know your neighbors: houses compete each year in intramural competition as well as throw parties, you'll likely see someone you know on your short walk to the dining halls and academic areas of campus, and plenty of lounge areas offer the chance for late-night study breaks, chatting with friends, and meeting new people.

          We also make it easy to take care of yourself and be safe. The Health Center, Fitness Center, and Campus Safety are all central to the residence halls and easy to access.
