Camp Grizzly is reserved from the beginning of June to the latter part of August for guests with special needs.
A wide variety of outdoor and indoor activities are made available to campers throughout their stay. Our goal is to provide an exciting, fun-filled experience in a wilderness setting. For details on these activities, please refer to the Programs page.
All Camp Grizzly staff have had criminal record checks. Supervisors have specialized training in working with people with special needs and have first aid and CPR Training.
Food services are provided by fully trained camp cooks. We take pleasure in providing a variety of delicious home-cooked meals. Those with special dietary needs should indicate this on their camp application.
Linen services are provided, eliminating the need to bring bedding.
Although our camp is not wheelchair accessible, we can accomodate those with limited mobility.
Camp facilites and water quality are inspected annually by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
All boats will be operated by qualified Camp Grizzly staff only.
Alcohol and illegal drugs cannot be used on our premises. Evidence of possession and/or consumption of these substances is cause for immediate eviction without further notice. Smoking is permitted in a clearly defined outside space and will not be permitted elsewhere.
Camp participants are expected to use good hygiene practices, e.g. washing hand before eating and after smoking etc.
