Description

Pearl Studios with its beautiful floor to ceiling mirrors and sprung floors teems with Broadway rehearsal activity day and night. Students can expect to see current and pre-opening rehearsals in progress as they come and go from their classes. Located in a secure building at 500 8th Avenue between 35th and 36th Pearl Studios is an ideal location to house the training sessions for our students. Not only will you feel inspired by your faculty and classmates, but you will "rub elbows" with current Broadway stars as you all come and go in the elevators, lounges, and studios.

US Performing Arts invites you to visit the Great White Way as you join Broadway artists and directors, and enthusiastic musical theater students in a 6-day intensive training academy in the heart of Manhattan's Broadway Theater District. This premiere Musical Theater program offers daily workshops in the three essential components of musical theater - acting, singing, and dancing. Curriculum includes improvisation, scene study, vocal instruction, audition techniques, and dance workshops for all levels, from beginner to advanced.

Tuition includes a ticket to a Broadway performance. This is a fantastic program to coincide with a family vacation and leaves most evenings free to spend together in the Big Apple.

Parents are invited to attend the orientation on the first day, any schedule changes will be given out at this time.

Additionally, students will have access to one-on-one sessions with Broadway artists discussing audition repertoire, career advice and the basic steps to surviving in New York City as a newly-arriving artist. The two-week program will culminate in a final presentation for family and friends showcasing each student's work, both as an individual and as an ensemble member. Video submission and application required. Students not accepted will receive a full refund of their deposit minus a $50 audition fee.
