John Jacobs' Golf Schools  was founded in 1976 by John Jacobs, the world renowned Golf Doctor, and Shelby Futch, recognized as one of the Top 100 Teaching Professionals in the world. Shelby who is CEO leads a team of certified John Jacobs' instructors who love teaching John's original philosophy of ball flight analysis. Our students return home armed with the knowledge to be their own instructor so they can continue to hit better golf shots.

At whichever John Jacobs' Golf Schools location you choose, you will be greeted by certified Jacob's teaching professionals who will teach you the proven methods that have been so successful for over 30 years. In addition to improving your full swing, you will learn the art of chipping, pitching, putting and sand play. Then you will take your new knowledge and skill out to play on a beautiful & fun course. Besides improving your golf game, you will enjoy the camaraderie of meeting new golfing friends in a relaxing resort setting. This is a golf vacation experience that students return to over and over again.



Every golfer has different areas of their game they want to work on - what is it for you? Need help with your short game? Having trouble keeping your mental focus when hitting the ball down the fairway? Or are you an alumni and want to hone in on the area of your golf game that needs a little fine-tuning?



Because we understand golfers are all unique and desire different areas of targeted instruction, we have developed our SPECIALITY Schools, focusing on what you need most. These specialized golf lessons will give you the skills and knowledge you need to hit the ball longer, straighter and more consistent.





Designed for intermediate to advanced junior players whose goals are to play competitive junior tournaments as well as playing on their high school or college golf team. Two summer sessions offered, one in June and one in July at Red Mountain Ranch Country Club in Mesa, Arizona. Red Mountain Ranch Country Club features a "Pete Dye Signature" course and a "state of the art" practice range.



Instructors for these special elite junior schools will be nationally recognized Jacobs' teachers including Scott Bunker. John Jacobs' Owner & CEO Shelby Futch will also be visiting each session for hands on instruction as well as offering his valuable experience on what it takes to play competitively at the college level. Shelby is the golf coach at Scottsdale Community College, which has won many national junior college championships, and players from all over the world come to SCC for the experience of learning from Shelby and competing for a national championship.
