DescriptionAbout O-D Football CampsYou have come across the website of the largest full-contact youth football camps in the country. We have been America's Favorite Summer Football Camp for the last 41 years, so we know how to train the best and prepare the youth football population for life. Offense-Defense Football Camps is committed to providing youth football players with the ultimate instructional football camp in the country. O-D StaffAll hired staff (coaches, trainers, counselors, and administration staff) must apply for the position desired. All applicants are required to submit at least three (3) references with their application. All applications and references are reviewed along with a background check for all counselors. Prior to the first day of camp, all camp staff are required to attend a full orientation with the Offense-Defense staff. MethodologyCoaching: Your player will train with highly skilled NFL players and coaches as well as elite college coaches from around the nation. Every coach is well trained in the O-D method of progressive contact and know what it takes to get the most out of every player in a safe and motivating environment. CoachingAt Offense-Defense, we obviously take instruction seriously. After-all, you can't teach great football without great teachers. That's why at one time or another we've employed 30 of the current 32 NFL Head Coaches as coaches at our football camps. In fact we're so committed to providing the most excellent instruction around that we will not hire anyone who has not at least coached at the collegiate level. Every year we guarantee a solid mix of qualified collegiate-level instructors as well as a respectable number of coaches who get paid to play their trade at the very highest level of competition, the NFL. ReviewsMy son had a terrible experience at this camp. They will lie to get your money and once they do they can care less about you and your child. They brush off the customer as if they do not exist. They are3 unorganized and I will never send or refer another player to this camp.

Having coached youth football for the last 8 years with the last four years as a head coach I am very involved in Youth Football.
After having the O-D experience for my own 14 year old the last two years I cannot, in good faith, recommend this camp to any of my associations, youth football associates, friends, family, players, or parents. I am not a parent that has an over inflated opinion of my own player, he is average. But the reasons for my discontent with this camp are numerous and highlighted outlined below: - My son plays center for his school and repeatedly he told his OD O-line coach he was a center and needs reps at this position. We are into the last day and he has yet to get reps for his desired position and has been “filling in†at tackle when the older players are absent. During a 15 minute session he was allowed to play center for a scout offense against the younger players when the older players could not continue due to crotch chaffing. My. 11 yo son attended this camp as a new player. I sent him to prepare him for his first season. I felt it did help him with that goal and he did enjoy the experience. I would send him again if he wants to go. That said, the full contact experience is real, but if you're paying the huge fee for the NFL player experience, find another camp. There are no current NFL players at the camp. The only one they had was a little old man who claimed to be an ex-dolphins player. According to my son, he was a complete jerk and a major Diva. I experienced his attitude at registration and would have liked to have yanked his scrawny butt by his white beard across the table. This camp is what it is. A full contact instruction camp. Not truly worth the amount they charge and not delivering the completely what they promise. But if ur just looking for 7hours of practice daily, bad food (pe
r my son lol) and full contact. Go for it. Comment on : 02 October, 2011
