Countess Trina has been sewing for over 40 years. In addition, she has 20 years of customer service and management experience. She has been trained by Colonial Williamsburg's journeyman tailor Mark Hutter and apprentice tailor Neal Hurst, as well as Henry Cooke of Historical Costume Services. She is a member of the Smocking Arts Guild of America and is the current Vice President of the Piedmont Chapter. She is also a member of the American Sewing Guild. Trina is a licensed You Can Make It Teacher and using the You Can Make It method.
For the last four years Trina has been conducting classes for the heirloom sewing shop Sew Heavenly in Greensboro, North Carolina. Unfortunately, due to the economy, Sew Heavenly is closing it's doors after 10 years. All of the owners, employees, and loyal customers are very sad to see this wonderful institution close. Sew Heavenly will be greatly missed.
