Description

Western Treasures' Home page provides information and photography for the Hunter Peak and 7 D Ranches located near important routes of the Nez Perce Trail through Yellowstone Park and the Sunlight Basin, our "Featured Montana & Wyoming Places," Nez Perce history and photography, and Western Landscape photography sections provide interesting and useful historical and interpretive information.



Stan Hoggatt, owner of Western Treasures, is a Nez Perce author, historian, and photographer. You'll find examples of Stan's photography throughout Western Treasures' home page including a photographic section, photography of the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, Old Trail Town, the Big Hole National Battlefield, Bannack, Montana, and Yellowstone Park. You might take a second and visit Stan's "Historical Archive Collection of Nez Perce People" which has been made available for viewing on the Internet.



Western Treasures' "Featured Montana & Wyoming Places" provides information for selected Montana and Wyoming facilities, state and federal parks that provide important interpretive information on Nez Perce, Native American, or Western history. Our "Featured Montana & Wyoming Places" includes Bannack, Montana (1st Territorial Capital of Montana), Big Hole Battlefield, Montana, Buffalo Bill Historical Center, Cody, Wyoming, Chief Plenty Coups State Park, Old Trail Town, Cody, Wyoming, and Yellowstone National Park.



The Nez Perce culture, history, photography and information section provides information for students, teachers and others interested in Nez Perce history. The information may be downloaded to your computer for school reports and other activites provided the information is used for education purposes. In this section, you will find address information for the Nez Perce Tribal Executive Committee, the Nez Perce National Historic Park (NPNHP) along with other useful information.
