DescriptionSoutheastern University is located in the city of Lakeland in Polk County, Florida the heart of citrus country. Surrounded by the beautiful lakes that characterize Central Florida, the 87+ acre campus presents an attractive and picturesque scene for the students' pleasure and academic environment. The natural beauty of the lakes and citrus groves, combined with a semi-tropical atmosphere and lifestyle, makes Lakeland a delightful place to attend college and enjoy Florida winters. The average annual temperature is 72 degrees. Directing our camp program is Southeastern Head Men's Basketball Coach John Dunlap. Coach Dunlap has led the Fire to a top-five finish nationally four out of the past five seasons. In 2004-2005, Coach Dunlap led Southeastern to a 30-8 overall record and won the school's first NCCAA II National Championship in men's basketball. Coach Dunlap also won his 300th basketball game that season with an 88-45 win over Trinity Baptist College on February 10, 2005. Under Coach Dunlap, the Fire set an NCCAA South Region record by winning 40 straight South Region games. He has an amazing record of 106-12 versus South Region opponents over his career, a 170-83 record overall at Southeastern, and an overall career coaching record of 378-304. Details
