Located in the hills of Central Ohio in Coshocton County, Camp Echoing Hills began with a vision of Rev. D. Cordell Brown, a man who has overcome many obstacles living with cerebral palsy. He was inspired to create a place where individuals with disabilities could come and experience Christ and grow spiritually, emotionally, physically and socially.
Camp Echoing Hills is a non-denominational Christian summer camp where people of all ages with special needs experience a life changing week of camp. Our camping season runs for five weeks in the summer months and we typically serve over 550 campers. We also provide fall and spring family camp weekends and specialized camps offering valuable resources and networking opportunities for specific disabilities. Each summer, Camp Echoing Hills provides a safe and encouraging residential camping experience to literally hundreds of campers, empowering them to live more fully through faith, fun and recreation. We provide a nurturing, spiritual and enriching atmosphere where campers develop friendships, skills and life-long memories. We also provide many families with the respite they so need and enjoy by providing a place to stay for their special needs loved ones.
At Camp Echoing Hills we strive to provide a comfortable, safe and fun summer camping experience for people with special needs, no matter what their abilities. If you find it difficult to get out of a wheelchair to enjoy a hayride, we have a specially designed wagon just for you. Have you ever wanted to ride a go-cart, go fishing, hike through the woods, or shoot a bow and arrow, but thought your abilities might not allow it? The well trained and dedicated staff will help you make it happen. In our structured programs, campers receive specialized placement with staff who understand their individual needs.
