Welcome to the website of the Phoenix Metro Public Safety Football Club, the "Thunder"! The Phoenix Thunder is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization of firefighters and police officers from across the valley who compete in tackle football games to raise money for local charities. The Thunder competes in the National Public Safety Football League (www.npsfl.com), a league consisting of 24 teams of public safety professionals. These teams are from New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and several other major markets from across the country. Each team in the N.P.S.F.L. plays to raise money for the charities of their choosing.
The Phoenix Thunder will be raising money this year for the Miller Family. Kim Miller lost her battle with colon cancer and left behind three children and her husband, Deron, a Goodyear Police Sergeant. All the money raised will go towards the children’s future college education. We will raffle off FBR OPEN 16th Green Sky Box Tickets. This includes two tickets for everyday of the event, and all the free food and drinks. Any donations in increments of $25 will automatically enter those who donate.
The success of our organization, as well as our involvement with our charities, is only as strong as our sponsors and supporters. The Thunder would like to invite everyone to become part of our team so that together we can continue to make a difference in our community and continue to touch so many lives.
