Description

Camp Mont Shenandoah is a small, traditional girls’ camp located in the Allegheny mountains of Bath County, Virginia. The site includes open fields, ample woods with hiking trails, streams, hills and unmatched views overlooking the pristine Cowpasture River.


Since its inception in 1927, the five virtues of love, loyalty, friendship, sportsmanship and spiritual awareness have served as the guiding principles of Camp Mont Shenandoah. A beautiful setting, a wide variety of activities, long standing traditions, bountiful spirit and family atmosphere have sustained Mont Shenandoah as a favorite camping choice for many summers. Mont Shenandoah is committed to maintaining a small, personal operation to allow for the individual attention and caring environment that fosters lasting relationships and growth. The exceptional Mont Shenandoah experience has kept families returning for generations and inspired numerous campers to return as counselors.


Each girl departs Mont Shenandoah uplifted and transformed, taking with her the many friendships formed, a healthy sense of self and newly learned talents. A summer at Mont Shenandoah can provide a girl with a foundation of skills and values upon which she can rely throughout her lifetime.
