The Camp of Champions excels in the instruction of football technique for all football groups and positions. The La Habra High School assistant football coaches and players will head each of their specialized position groups to teach them essential football fundamentals. We pride ourselves in our low camper-to-coach ratio to assure that your child is receiving the proper coaching. Your child will leave The Camp of Champions with a new sense of confidence as a result of their newly acquired skills and fundamentals, and they will have had an absolutely wonderful time doing so!
The Camp of Champions has full access to all of La Habra's state-of-the-art facilities. Camp sessions will be conducted in La Habra High School's stadium, various football practice fields, weight rooms, locker rooms, and lecture halls.
The Camp of Champions is proud to be associated with Athletes Quest and Speed 101. We believe that it is of great importance to correctly instruct our young athletes in the proper techniques of weight and strength training. Campers will learn how to properly handle weights and will be conditioned by our staff of professionals. All activities are conducted under strict supervision. The youth camp will provide campers with the opportunity to learn techniques that have been proven to yield maximum results in the areas of weight training, core training, and conditioning. The more experienced campers will learn two "Olympic" lifts that will prepare them for junior high and high school sports. These activities will be taught in La Habra High School's beautiful brand new state-of-the-art weight room. Our campers will all go through a carefully designed core training series using tires, jelly balls, and other new methods of training. Our novice campers will not be asked to do any lifts but will be conditioned through an instructor led core strengthening program. However, they will still be asked to visit the weight room to be introduced to a series of beginning core training exercises. Training for all campers will consist of proper lifting techniques, core/pillar training, plyometrics, balance training, and most importantly positive reinforcement.
