The UC Davis football team, coming off a Great West Conference championship last fall, opened spring drills under sunny skies on Tuesday afternoon in preparation for the Aggies' 92nd season on the gridiron this fall.
"I expect it to be a competitive spring, I expect us to learn more about our football team," said Biggs who will be entering his 18th season. "I think we're all really pleased with the team cohesiveness, chemistry and motivation. It's a very close football team.
"Our goal this spring is to come together as a football team, become very cohesive, find out who our players are and when we come back in the fall everything we do is to raise our game and our level of play to playoff-level football," he said.
