Description

Accommodations

We offer a variety of accommodations to meet the needs of the many diverse groups we serve. All year-round accommodations have their own kitchen, bathroom and shower facilities.  Rental groups have free use of the pavilion, athletic fields, and trails.  Food service and programmed activities are available for an additional fee.

 Retreat Center

The Retreat Center consists of central kitchen, dining, lounge facilities with two semi-attached cabins. A meeting room for large groups is also available. The kitchen is a full commercial kitchen and has place settings for 100. Each of the cabins can sleep up to 24 people and are divided down the middle to create separate half cabins.  Each half cabin has separate bathroom and shower facilities. The Retreat Center is handicapped accessible.

 Retreat House

This two floor building has two bedrooms and can sleep 20 people. A lounge separates the bedrooms on the upper floor, along with bathroom and shower facilities. The lower floor contains a meeting/dining room, bathrooms, and a small kitchen. The kitchen has place settings and assorted cooking utensils. The upper floor of the Retreat House is handicapped accessible but access to the lower floor is limited.

 Tent Sites

Platform tents are available from mid-May until early October. Tents are grouped around a pavilion, which has indoor meeting space and bathroom/shower facilities. Two of the three pavilions have an indoor fireplace; they do not have kitchen facilities.

 Programmed Activities

Low Ropes

Team building activities are designed to help small group groups work together effectively by improving communication and problem solving abilities.

High Ropes

The Giant Swing, Leap of Faith, Giant's Ladder, and Fandango will challenge individuals to step out of their comfort zones and depend on their teammates for support.  Tell us about your group and we will pick a high rope element to best fit your objectives.

Climbing Wall

Test your limits as you climb on the rock wall.  A group belay system allows this activity to foster trust and cohesiveness between a group.

Nature Activity

Learn more about the natural environment by leaving your campsite and having a Naturalist lead a program for your group.  Tell us your age and science interests and we will build you a fun and informative program.  Night Hikes can be planned for evening programming.

Swimming and Boating

Come relax at the lake on warm days and go swimming and/or boating under the watchful eye of a lifeguard.  A lifeguard must be scheduled to use the lake.
