DescriptionFirst and foremost, thank you for your support of Fresno State Athletics. Your contributions and unwavering support are key to the future of Bulldog success. With that being said, please bear in mind that California State University, Fresno is responsible for ensuring that faculty, staff, student-athletes, coaches, and supporters of Fresno State Athletics uphold and comply with the rules and regulations of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Western Athletic Conference (WAC), and Fresno State Athletics. As Bulldog fans and donors, you must understand the importance of compliance in intercollegiate athletics. With your cooperation and assistance, we can ensure that the eligibility of current and prospective student-athletes is maintained and protected. The actions of boosters can negatively impact both current and prospective student-athletes. Student-athletes and prospective student-athletes may not receive any extra benefit from a booster. An extra benefit is defined by the NCAA as, "any special arrangement by an institutional employee or a representative of the institution's athletes interest (a booster) to provide a student-athlete or the student-athlete's relative or friend a benefit not expressly authorized by the NCAA legislation." It is always best to ask before you act. For further information, please review the NCAA website at NCAA.org or contact the Fresno State Compliance office at (559) 278-5116. This website is focused on educating Faculty, Staff, Coaches, Current and Prospective Student-Athletes, Parents, Boosters, Alumni and Fans. With education, we can be certain that Fresno State Athletics is operating within the industry standards and employing the best practices of the industry. Details
