Mee is in his seventh season as the Head Coach at The University of Toledo. In 2009, the Rockets finished 2nd in the MAC West Division, along with an appearance MAC Conference Tournament Championship Game. This shows the continued improvement of the UT baseball program under Mee’s direction. Coach Mee just finished his 17th season in college coaching, and during that time, Mee has tutored over 40 players that have gone on to play professionally. Prior to coming to Toledo in 2004, Mee worked as an assistant coach at both the University of Notre Dame and Michigan State University. As a player, Mee became an Academic All-American during his four year career at Notre Dame. He then played in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization before beginning his coaching career.

Josh Bradford serves as the Rockets pitching coach and recruiting coordinator. In 2009, the Rockets pitching staff had two players drafted in the MLB draft, and Matt Kuna was selected to the MAC All-Conference Team. Bradford was a two-year starter at Xavier University where he was Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Year and firstteam All-Atlantic 10 selection in 1996. The Blue Jays drafted him in the 15th round following his senior year where he spent four years in their organization, reaching Triple-A.

Nick McIntyre is entering his second year as an assistant coach for the Rockets. McIntyre join’s the staff after finishing his professional baseball career, reaching AA with the Detroit Tigers organization. McIntyre was an All-Big Ten performer at Purdue University, where he played from 2000-2003. McIntyre will work with all aspects of the program, and will coordinate UT’s growing offering of baseball camps.

Matt Talarico is entering his first season as an assistant coach for the Rockets. Talarico comes to Toledo after two highly successful seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Heidelberg University in nearby Tiffin, OH. During his time with Heidelberg, the Student Princes posted an impressive 78-19 ledger and advanced to the NCAA Tournament each season, winning both the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) regular season and tournament titles.
