Located along the beautiful Northumberland Strait is a piece of paradise known as Camp Ta-Wa-Si. Here surrounded by nature, warmed by the sun, refreshed by the rain, the magic of camp happens and heart-warming memories are made. 

Camp Ta-Wa-Si is an outdoor  ministry of the Chignecto Presbytery of the  Maritime Conference of the United Church of Canada and is administered and operated by the Board of Camp Ta-Wa-Si Inc.

We are a non-profit charitable organization and strive to provide the best possible experience for all our campers. 

This Web page is designed to assist you in knowing more about Camp Ta-Wa-Si, its rental programs and its Summer Camp Program.   Here you will find information about our rental policies, a description of camp facilities, program options for renters, rental rates, camp policies and instructions for renting the facilities.

Camp Ta-Wa-Si runs weekly programs throughout July and August for children and youth ages 6-16. The camp operates with full- time paid summer staff. 

Our Programs are planned to meet the needs of our campers. A full camp day will include a balance of active and passive activities. Campers live together in cabins and follow our programs with the guidance and supervision of qualified, enthusiastic staff. The camp property consists of 30 acres on the shore of the Northumberland Strait. We boast tidal pools, hiking trails and a large beach area a short walk from camp. Our Dining Hall doubles as a recreation hall and this is the place to be on a rainy day. Everyone enjoys our sandy beach, volleyball area, ball diamond, obstacle course and mud pit. We are blessed with a beautiful campfire area for evening activities, surrounded by trees and overlooking the water is our peaceful outdoor chapel.

Our camp facilities are available for rent in May, June and early September.
