Summer is a magical time for children, and nowhere is the magic more enchanting than on Lake Nichecronk! Our two sites -- Camp Speers and Camp Eljabar -- create one lasting impression. Our 1100-acre forest provides a charming setting for age-appropriate, action-packed activities and social interactions designed to meet the precise needs of each stage of a child’s development -- allowing them to excel in traditional resident camp and day camp programs.

Our summer day camp program provides almost limitless opportunities for FUN in a safe and nurturing environment.

ACCES Program

ACCES (All Children Can Experience Speers-Eljabar) is a mainstreaming program that enables campers with mild to moderate developmental disabilities to participate in traditional residential camping activities. These campers are fully included in the daily activities with typically developing campers.  Campers with special needs are housed together with at 3:1 staff to camper ratio to ensure that their personal care needs are appropriately supported.  We focus on guiding and empowering campers to gain independence, build relationships, master activity skills and successfully socialize wth both typically and atypically developing peers.  A pre-registration screening is required,
