two son went to the summer ice hockey camp and it was terrible. he was not challenged at all, they refused to put him in a more challenging group. the coach's just treated him like another body. the coaches were not even good. extra ice is only available to those who are "good enough" which basicaly means only if they know you. my son plays aaa hockey and said was not challenging and the kids there would just skip the whole line after doddling around with the pucks all under the coaches watch. my son wasn't even in the first group and you could clearly see these kids did not even play aa. my ten year old who just started not so long ago complained he was not learning anything. so i watched the coaches to see if they were giving him tips. AND THERE WAS NO PLAYER COACH INTERACTION WHAT SO EVER AND YOU COULD CLEARLY SEE HE NEEDED SOME TIP, LIKE MAYBE TO NOT DRAG HIS SKATES WHEN HE SKATES FORWARD. so they were making groups for this extra ice thing and one coach just pointed at my son Comment on : 17 August, 2011
