Description
If you are a dedicated athlete who spends time thinking about improving and getting to another level of performance, chances are you'll love Point Guard College. But, for the athlete who just enjoys casually playing, this is probably not the program for you. It's an intense learning experience that includes three-to-four hours of classroom sessions and six-to-seven six hours in the gym each day. For the student-athlete who welcomes this type of environment, it will be a very special experience, and you'll leave the College a more valuable player.
Age Requirements: Essentials and Think The Game are open to high-school and college players. Mature incoming high-school freshmen are invited—with no exceptions for younger athletes.
“I learned how to be a better crunch-time or pressure player. I learned how to read the defense so that I can make the proper move. I learned how to be a better defender by being in the bubble and gnawing at the pocket. I learned how to move the defense before I attack. I learned how to push the ball up the floor while staying under control and how to be a better leader by encouraging my teammates.”
