On July 23, 1956 the site, on which the camp is located, was purchased from Mel Tompkins. The first camp was held in the summer of 1957. Our first years were small. Now some 50 years later Stoney has grown to include:

We are here to present and promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our campers, and provide an excellent camping program for our campers.

Stoney offers a professionally run camping program that enables your camper to have a unforgettable camping experience. Our trained staff gives 24-hour supervision to insure that your campers have the best possible camping experience at Stoney.

Our program is designed to provide the camper with practical skills that will be of great value to them for their lives. We teach careful use of their environment as well as developing social skills that will benefit them as tomorrow's leaders.

Stoney offers a number of different camps, each one tailored to a specific age group. We offer many different skills and activities at each camp including: archery, water skiing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, mountain biking, rocketry, crafts, creative expression, fishing, kayaking, climbing wall, trampoline, canoeing, survival training etc. Our goal is to provide a fun and safe environment that encourages spiritual growth in the lives of our campers and staff. There are daily chapel services as well as devotionals. Our staff is trained to ensure that all of the campers have the safest and best time possible!

Stoney maintains exceptional standards in health, safety, program and staff. Our staff includes a full time nurse, trained cabin leaders and senior leadership with over 30 years of experience in the camping industry. We offer a distinctly natural atmosphere
