Description

Camps Massad of Canada were established in 1947, with the creation of Massad Alef on Lac Quenouille, Quebec. Camp Massad is set in the beautiful Laurentian mountains of Quebec, Canada, with Emek (Junior) and Galil (Senior) sections, Malam (Machon Le'Madrichim), our great Agam (Waterfront) and our other diverse facilities.

We have a long tradition of Hebrew language immersion, based in a traditional Jewish summer setting, that has come to reflect the Montreal community over the years, and its families of various Jewish backgrounds.

Camp Massad was founded by Rabbi Aron Horowitz, along with Isaac Gold, the first President of the our Camp, and has a long and rich history. Past campers and staff have many fond memories of their years spent at Machane Massad.
