This phrase describes what we do at Bernie through programs that are intentionally and specifically designed for campers to realize their individual and collective potential, in addition to having lots of fun.

Campers will build independence and self-confidence through opportunities to choose from a variety of exciting activities. Campers will form lasting friendships and feel safe and supported as the group pursues shared interests. Campers will mature, develop new skills and progress through programs as they return to Bernie year after year, experiencing innovative, age-appropriate challenges.

With 250 scenic acres YMCA Camp Bernie’s programs offer modernized facilities and a wealth of activities, including swimming, climbing tower, mountain biking, arts and crafts, drama, sports, archery, canoeing and so much more!
