This terrific camp helps introduce young children and their parents or guardians to camping at Cedar Crest. Campers attend this session with an adult and experience the many fun activities offered in a full-week session, but on a smaller scale. Most of the time is spent with kids and adults playing and learning together, although some separate activities are planned during the day, as well, to encourage independence and enhance kids’ comfort level in coming to camp on their own in the future. The mustard seed is one of the smallest seeds, but it produces large trees; Jesus used the mustard seed to describe how even just a little faith can produce big results. This year’s campers will explore how even big heroes can come in small packages.
