With almost 20 years of history behind us, we offer the rider spectacular scenery and a chance to relive the history of the wild west. The days are filled with riding on the old outlaw trail, the Bridger Trail, and visiting historical ranches and places where the outlaws would ‘hang out’.
Started by Vince Hayes and others in Thermopolis as a way to celebrate the Wyoming centennial in 1990, The Outlaw Trail Ride has hosted an annual ride. The funds raised are donated to various organizations and individuals for the betterment of our community and its residents.
Committee members of the Outlaw Trail Ride are volunteers donating their time and talents to make every trail ride a success. It has been a privilege to host riders from all over the United States, Europe, Canada, and Australia.
The goal of the Outlaw Trail Ride is to continue the tradition begun in 1990 of sharing the great American West in an effort to preserve the history and the wonders of the beautiful State of Wyoming.
