DescriptionPriestfield has the oldest history of the centers. The donation of the land to the Catholic Church dates back to 1802 when Adam Livingston gave the church a 35 acre parcel of farmland; "a field to sustain a priest" for favors granted. The dedication of PriestField Pastoral Center in 1983 and our continued growth fulfills the promise of becoming a "a great place of prayer and fasting and praise." We are situated on fifty acres of wooded property along the Opequon Creek, in the Shenandoah Valley. The overall serenity of the property is complemented with well-maintained walking trails through the woods and along the creek, water gardens, outdoor decks and patios providing many choice places for quiet refl The Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston subsidizes our operating costs. The requested contributions for the use of PriestField are available on request for your planning purposes. Details
