Community, tradition and heritage are linked in our celebration. Campers and staff wear white shirts as the Sabbath begins with candle lighting, kiddush and blessing over the Challah. After dinner services are conducted by campers who have spent the week in preparation. An Oneg Shabbat, with dance and song, follows. On Saturday there are short morning services followed by an exciting all-camp activity. Bunk groups join together in a traditional Shabbat picnic. The Sabbath's end is marked with a beautiful candlelight Havdallah service.
