Camp Fire USA is a co-ed family scouting program. Our members range in age form 4 to 18, and up. Our program is all inclusive and we encourage family participation. Our local council was chartered and organized in 1937. At that time, there were 285 girls meeting weekly in 18 clubs.  Today, Camp Fire USA Coastal Bend council serves the counties of Aransas, Bee, Nueces, Refugio and San Patricio.

Our council office is located at 1601 N. Chaparral St. in Corpus Christi, Texas. The house that we use is known as the Gugenheim House and it is part of Heritage Park, which also has many other of Corpus Christi's original older houses, which have all been restored. Our offices contain an abundant amount of past history of Camp Fire and of the house itself. Tours are given at the park. You are welcome to come by anytime we are open and have a look at all our Camp Fire past history and the house too.
