DescriptionSince 1952, The Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Pinellas County has been dedicated to serving Pinellas County by providing intergenerational programming for individuals and families, regardless of race, religion or creed. One of the most enduring programs the JCC of Pinellas County offers, Camp Kadima, was developed and implemented in 1952. Kadima means “to go forward.” This six-week camp for children in kindergarten through fifth grade offers a variety of fun-filled educational, cultural, recreational and social experiences in a safe and controlled environment. Activities include swimming, gymnastics, drama, theater, cooking, sailing, karate, sports, games from Israel, arts and crafts, and 6 field trips to exciting local destinations. The JCC has also developed specialized programming for Families, Young Professionals, Empty Nesters and Seniors.
