A variety of talented instructors will assist you to become a more comfortable rider (for yourself and for the horse) Our instructors teach a balanced seat, which enables clinic participants to improve their skill in trail riding. You will receive hands-on-experience in stable management, ground work and trail riding over many miles of trails. You'll witness Farrier "hot shoeing", plus lungeing and harnessing demonstrations. Morning sessions provide instruction in stable management (feeds, feeding, stall care and proper handling of horses, grooming, tacking, bathing and medicating). Also included are riding lessons with no more than three to a class, followed by rides out on the trail daily. Afternoon sessions provide time for additional lessons in our indoor arena, or instruction in trail riding skills to help you remain comfortable during many long hours in the saddle. Whether your interest is only to improve as a pleasure rider or to prepare for another "distance" riding holiday, this clinic will help you achieve your goals. Five nights lodging, three dinners at Kedron Valley Inn, four picnic lunches and five country breakfasts' are included.
