Jewish Camping Experience: Camp Olami is dedicated to developing strong, positive identities in its campers. Our Ackerberg Family Campsite provides the ideal environment for making friends, discovering Jewish values, gaining knowledge, building trust, learning teamwork and having fun. New skills and friendships await campers each day. All campers will enjoy free swim in our beautiful Numero-Steinfeldt outdoor pool. Campers will also make use of the Barbara Ziman Pentelovitch Memorial indoor pool for American Red Cross swim lessons three days each week, taught by a team of certified water safety instructors. Arts and crafts, sports and games, music, drama, Judaics, Israeli culture, nature, dance and special events are just some of the activities that campers will experience. Each year we are excited to host several Israeli Shlichim who provide a unique cultural perspective and enhance the Jewish component of the Camp Olami experience. Other highlights include field trips, theme weeks, over/under nights, Family Shabbat Dinners, and Kabbalat Shabbat celebrations.
