Bayside Community Center works to help ease the struggle for many needy people who live in north central San Diego. Our neighborhoods are filled with residents who want to find a way to help themselves. Bayside provides that helping hand.
In 1932 Bayside Settlement House began providing services to Italian and Portuguese fisherman and their families. Now renamed Bayside Community Center, the agency has resided in the heart of the Linda Vista community since 1978 after relocating from Little Italy. For over 75 years we have provided emergency services and advocacy to immigrants and refugees who are limited by language, cultural understanding, knowledge of our existing laws, and transportation barriers. Bayside is a collaborative partner with several groups and agencies from the San Diego community. We encourage people to participate in our programs and services which are designed to strengthen individual potential and build a healthy, active community.

Bayside's four focus areas of service are Social Services, Education, Housing and Public Safety, which include the following 14 programs:
