Learn how to predict, select, and judge waves, and discover why some beaches break better than others.

Explore and surf the barrier islands of the Outer Banks, kayak the Pamlico Sound, climb the Hatteras Lighthouse, and visit the tallest dune on the East Coast at Jockey's Ridge State Park! Come learn about the amazing coastal ecology of this dynamic barrier island complex. Participants will be exploring miles of beautiful white-sandy beaches from: Avon, Buxton, Rodanthe, Frisco, and Kitty Hawk. As always we will chase down the best waves the Outer Banks has to offer. We cater to the absolute beginner, and our staff of professional instructors will take you to the next level.

After surfing and exploring all day long we will recharge our batteries around a camp fire, watch and analyze digital video that will be taken, to help in our progression.

This is a learn to surf adventure; prior surfing experience is not required. This program is for beginner to intermediate surfing participants ages 13 - 16.
