Description

Founded in 1986, Sea Camp has opened up the world of marine biology to over 11,500 campers during it's 21 years of existence. Participants have come to Sea Camp from across the country to take advantage of all the educational opportunities that it has to offer. Over 1,300 educators have attended Sea Camp serving as counselors. Sea Camp is located at Texas A&M University at Galveston's Mitchell Campus. Sea Camp is a week-long adventure exploring the wonders of the marine and estuarine environments. As a Sea Camper, on the Galveston campus you will have access to TAMUG research vessels, oceanographic equipment, laboratory facilities, and a professional staff enabling you to learn about the ocean through first-hand on-the-water experiences.
