DescriptionCamp Marist was founded in 1949 on the beautiful shores of Ossipee Lake by The Marist Brothers, an international Catholic teaching order. After having established numerous elementary and high schools throughout the world, the Brothers wished to create a camp which complemented what they were doing in their schools. Camp Marist is a traditional residential summer camp for boys and girls, ages 6 to 16. Nestled on 300 acres in the White Mountain region of New Hampshire, we offer children an opportunity to continue learning about their faith, learn about character and community, develop strong self-esteem and self-awareness, and grow in confidence while practicing new skills. Camp Marist is fully accredited by the American Camp Association and undergoes a rigorous re-accreditation process every three years, in order to insure that proper safety codes and health regulations be maintained. Camp Marist and the year-round facilities and programs of the Marist Retreat Center are based on the heritage of the Marist Brothers of the Schools. Our goal is to provide positive, life-enhancing experiences for all participants in our programs and for members of our surrounding community, including those less fortunate. Camp Marist strives to offer a stimulating and fun-filled environment, which fosters personal growth in faith, mind, body, and friendship through challenging and educational activities. Details
