Global Scholar is a two-week summer seminar that offers rising high school juniors and seniors the chance to immerse themselves in college- level coursework on world affairs.

The seminar normally takes place each July, at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. This year, under the current national economic climate, the Global Scholar program will be taking a hiatus and will not hold a 2009 seminar. We plan to revive the program in 2010.Meals are served in the Market Place of the new Elrod Student Center. Students can choose from a selection of salads, grill items, pasta, fruit, hot meals, ice cream, and other delicious combinations prepared daily
