Adventure Daycamp teaches powerful lessons in community, character-building, skill development, and healthy living lessons that can be learned nowhere else but through excellent summer outdoor activity experiences.

Corey has been an avid outdoor nut since he was a child growing up in Central and Eastern Oregon. During the summer his parents would send him to day camps around the Portland metro area, where the big outdoor "actvity" for the day would be going to the local park and finger painting or playing on a playground. While there is nothing wrong with these types of day camps, he thought there should have been more activities in the real outdoors.

The idea for Adventure Day Camp actually came for Corey's wife Jennifer. She knows Corey loves to be around kids and equally loves being in the outdoors, so why not combine them and spend the summers taking children on outdoor adventures...the kind of activities that your average daycare and day camps don't typically provide. From that original idea came the plan of Adventure Daycamp...

The staff has just as much dedication to the outdoors as Corey does...this was very important to have enthusiastic leaders guiding the kids to fun times in the great outdoors.
