LAKE LADONNA

is located in the heart of one of Illinois’s biggest tourism areas and offers

tent and RV camping sites plus cabins and seasonal sites. The park has beautiful

giant oak trees providing an abundance of shade with two natural streams running through

the campsites. All campsites are within walking distance of any section in the park.

Our air-conditioned cabins feature a kitchen with a stovetop, full-size refrigerator and sink. Each cabin accommodates 6 people comfortably with two sets of bunk beds and a dining table that folds down into a king-size bed. The bathrooms have a shower stall, toilet and sink.

A large white sand beach surrounds the lake, perfect for sunbathing and creating sandcastles.

There are two giant beach funbrellas to provide shade for swimmers. Along the beach,

a 60-foot boardwalk with a “palapa” - thatched covered hut, give the beach a Polynesian

theme. Our lake will keep you cool on a hot summer day and the kids busy. A rope swing dock,

made to look like a pirate ship swings kids off the “plank” by a thick rope attached to the mast

of the ship! As they swing out, a 30-foot waterfall drenches them before they go into the lake.

Another dock has a diving board and slide. And for the little ones, Kiddieland has a small slide

and tire swings to play on. Two beach volleyball courts are always ready for you. And a

full-size basketball court is ready for action just off the beach. Lake LaDonna has a lodge with

an arcade of video games, pool tables, pinball and juke box. The lodge offers camping goods,

firewood, ice, groceries and candy. The concession, also located in the lodge, serves

hamburgers, fries, hot dogs, ice cream and drinks. Tables and chairs are available inside to

keep you cool while eating, or a large concession window will serve you outside the lodge.

A playground for kids is located near the lodge. The playground has swings, slides, tunnels,

tubes, poles and more. And best of all, we have many activities each weekend to allow

families to be together and spend quality time with each other!
