DescriptionLook at our logo – it reflects the city and forest. Opposite environments connected by the cross – a symbol of Christ’s reconciling work demonstrated through His death and Resurrection. Jesus, the Reconciler...of every “thing” – from people to work to nature to play, of white to black and forest to city. We look forward to continuing a long-held dream, a residential camping facility partnering with Pittsburgh’s schools, churches and organizations to offer tangible expressions of hope to our city’s children – a place where black meets white and city meets forest in pursuit of Christian reconciliation. Imagine our city’s children, together with the significant adults who love them, exploring their identity and relationships in LMCC’s forests, fields and streams. Our hope is that in this space God’s reconciling work will flourish—renewing their hope in Christ and His work in our families, schools, communities and city. It’s a new thing…to the glory of God and the blessing of Pittsburgh.
