We are members in good standing with Christian Camping International (CCI) and Alberta Camping Association (ACA).



We facilitate and host conferences, retreats, seminars, family reunions, camps, business meetings, board meetings, wedding, graduation parties, picnics, anniversaries, gospel jamborees, banquets, and cultural groups. Our staff is able to assist you with your program planning. Larger groups of 300 enjoy all the facilities at DVM. Smaller groups of 10 to 20 soon feel at home gathered around one of the fireplaces in the Lodge. We offer packages for the week, the weekend, one night, or even for an afternoon.



Evan and Bev Baum (pictured below) are the directors of DVM. Evan is Executive Director and Bev is Director of Ministry and Public Relations. They are B.Th. Graduates of Gardner Bible College and Evan has a Masters of Divinity, while Bev has a Masters of Arts from Anderson Seminary. They have been serving as pastors in Western Canada for over 20 years and Bev has been a specialist in pastoral counseling. Evan has a wide variety of abilities in plumbing and heating, and mechanical and musical skills that will serve the camp well.



We offer full service to groups of 10-300 or building rental of one or all of our buildings and the grounds. Deer Valley Meadows is located on the Red Deer River and we are just off of Highway. We are 9km S.E. of Alix, AB. and 50km N.E. of Red Deer. Being next to the river, the senery is wonderful and the river hills provide interesting hiking trails. We have beach volleyball, a closed in basketball court, horseshoe pits, and playgrounds to offer in way of recreation. Deer Valley Meadows is full of widelife and nature's wonders.
