TECHie Camp is a full-day, week-long technology experience designed specifically for elementary and middle school students. The goal of TECHie Camp is to engage students in activities that can stimulate a deeper interest in technology; as well as provide opportunities for them to express their imaginations.  TECHie Camps are offered at a variety of locations between June 7, 2010 and August 20, 2010.

TECH CORPS was founded in 1995 by Gary Beach, Publisher Emeritus of CIO Magazine. Gary envisioned an organization which would challenge American volunteers to help K-12 schools build a technology infrastructure; much like the Peace Corps challenges men and women to help developing countries build their infrastructures. TECH CORPS connects technology, learning and the community to ensure all K-12 students have equal access to the technology skills, programs and resources that will enrich their education and allow them to successfully compete in the technology-driven global workforce.
