Sundance has been a household name on the Rogue River since 1973. Our Kayak Schools have launched many paddlers into their first rapid and our guides enjoy sharing the glory of the Rogue with returning and first-time visitors. Most of the Class II and III rapids have big recovery pools offering a learning curve while providing great opportunities to surf and play. Our guides not only transport your gear, but share their knowledge of the river.

 

Sundance runs Intermediate Kayak Schools in Southern Oregon on one of our country's finest rivers for kayaking: the Wild and Scenic Rogue River. Our long history of teaching whitewater kayaking makes Sundance the leading kayak instruction school in the area.

Each 6-day school includes plenty of time to perfect your maneuvers as well as travel downriver to test your progress. The low student-to-instructor ratio offers plenty of one-on-one time with experienced paddlers. Small group size (12 students maximum) allows your instructors to emphasize safety, evaluate your skills, and work with you individually.
