AES is a residential program.  Students receive 15 hrs. of English instruction per week, daily and nighly activities, plus full and half-day excursions.  Excursions include New York City, Philadelphia, and Lancaster.

American English Studies takes into consideration the interests of the students when designing activities. For most sessions there are at least three activities to choose from. These activities may include ball sports, board games, movie time, arts and crafts, funny fashion shows, dances, interview exchanges, talent shows, quiz games, etc.
