The Toronto Academy of Acting for Film Television known simply as T.A.A. was created in acknowledgement of the importance of the film actor's job and in support of the skills required to do the job properly. Our Acting schools philosophy was to provide education in the field of acting particularly focusing in training students for the film & television industry to people of as diverse a background as possible.

Our Acting Schools found many students who had extensive theatre training but little or no on camera training or experience. To assist both the talent and Casting Directors, the acting school developed curriculums to meet the necessary criteria that Casting Directors look for in an actor for the film & television industry.

Our students once they have finished training have an opportunity through our acting school to apprentice on sets as background performers for various film, television and t.v.commercial projects throughout Toronto area to gain experience working on sets. Background performers are compensated $9.00 per hour.

To students who have potential as actors for principal parts for actor roles for film and television acting school will set up interviews for the students to meet with various Principal Talent Agents for potential representation. Our acting schools will also Provide a letter of recommendation as well as a copy of the student's written evaluation on their training.

Our acting schools has instructed hundreds of students of all ages from all over Ontario and parts of the United States who wish to train in this exciting field of film & television and learn what is needed to succeed in this highly competitive industry.

Our film acting schools has now expanded to include a Film Makers course to assist students in having a winning edge when presenting a demo reel along with their application to a recognized university of their choice. T.A.A. has also implemented a Make Up Artistry course for actors as well as individuals who wish to train to become Make Up Artists.
