- Our Mission -

"The mission of the Howell Conference & Nature Center is to provide opportunities for mental, physical, and spiritual growth designed to enhance our relationships with God, nature, and our brothers and sisters throughout the world."

Teaching proper stewardship of God's natural world remains a very high priority. Offering Environmental Education Programs for children and adults, providing information to those who call for wildlife advice and demonstrating care and stewardship by rehabilitating approximately 2,000 birds and mammals each year, this mission is carried out.

Accredited by the American Camp Association, the Howell Conference and Nature Center

is situated on 270 acres and borders beautiful Pleasant Lake – with a complete year-round conference facility that offers a unique setting for school field trips, corporate conferences, retreats, summer camps, formal and informal gatherings. The seven modern lodges are suited for day or overnight usage for up to 220 people overnight.

Led by a professional and committed staff, featured activities include challenge/rope courses, climbing tower, zip line, nature/environmental studies, wildlife rehabilitation and Wildlife Park.  The Wild Wonders Wildlife Park houses permanently injured wildlife, including fox, coyote, deer, bobcat, eagles, hawks, owls, woodchucks and more. Hours: open daily 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission: free, but donations of $4/adults and $2 children under age 12 are encouraged for Wild Wonders Wildlife Park. We offer day and resident camps and many special events throughout the year
